We’re quite proud of our District badge, and it’s quite special to us. For this reason we don’t post District badges outside of our District. Whilst it’s very exciting to receive them in the post, just imagine how much more satisfying it would be to find one ‘in the wild! Our members are quite active though and it’s quite possible you can find them at the Monopoly Run, any of the Gilwell events, including Gilwell Reunion, Fundays, and the takeovers. We also attend many regional Jamborees including EIJ, KIJ, Kernow Jamboree, and Camjam to name a few.
Of course our Members within the District can get a badge from their Group Lead Volunteer, or section Team Leader, and they in turn can get them from either of the DLV team, but we are, for those reasons special.
