The first aid training delivered by Scouts – also known as the First Response course – is the minimum level of first aid training required by most volunteers holding a leader, manager or supporter role, being part of the requirements for the Wood Badge.
The First Response Certificate is designed specifically for adults in The Scout Association, based on the situations and issues that occur within those roles. It is not, therefore, externally recognised. A Certificate must be valid when Wood Badge is issued and the appointment renewed.
Courses are free of charge for Scout leaders in Hampshire.

If you have a professional first aid qualification for have an attended an external course, e.g. first aid at work
