Meeting Times
Explorers (Banderlogs Unit) : Wednesday : 7:15 until 9:15 pm
At Banderlogs, we aim to keep our Explorers active, regularly going on hikes, playing wide games, and learning outdoor skills, including survival, pioneering, navigation and fire-making. The Explorers have camps and do adventurous activities such as climbing, kayaking, backpacking, sailing and shooting. We also do social evenings with ten-pin bowling or going for a curry which is popular.
We encourage our Explorer Scouts to build their confidence and develop life skills by participating in schemes such as the Young Leader Award, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award or King’s Scout Awards. There are opportunities to go away on organised events with Hampshire Scouts and attend international jamboree.
